How imbuing works
Open the Imbuement window from the top bar. An item can have 1 to 3 imbuement slots and only accepts some imbuement categories and tiers — each item page lists what it accepts, and each imbuement links to the items that accept it. Imbuing consumes gold and the listed ingredients (backpack first, then depot).
| Tier | Fee (gold) | Protection | Success | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 5,000 | +10,000 | 90% | 20 h |
| Intricate | 30,000 | +30,000 | 70% | 20 h |
| Powerful | 200,000 | +50,000 | 50% | 20 h |
Paying protection raises the success chance to 100%. On failure, the gold and ingredients are consumed and the slot stays empty.
Rules
- The duration only runs while you hunt with the item equipped — it is frozen in town, in the backpack or depot, and while training.
- One imbuement per category per item; all elemental-damage imbuements share one category. If two equipped items convert damage to different elements, only the highest applies.
- An active imbuement can’t be overwritten — clear it first (free, no refund).
- The imbuement belongs to that copy of the item: imbuing one item from a stack splits it off, and imbued items don’t stack.
- Free accounts can apply Basic imbuements; Premium can apply up to Powerful.
- An item with an active imbuement can’t go to the Exaltation Forge or the market.
